Louis has been my main bass player for sessions for the last 3 years. Perfect Image Recording is a Tracking/Editing studio here in Nashville, TN. We are a very busy studio working with 30-40 artists a year. Louis has been my first call session player.

I have always admired the way Louis plays but, his command of rhythm and theory is second to none. I can always count on Louis taking the liberty to come up with a great line or passage to compliment the track. Producing tracks is my main focus, parts are very precise when a musician is asked to play it. Louis has remarkable creativity with exceptional skills in improvisation. He is quite capable of looking at the chart and at first pass coming up with exceptional rhythmic and melodic lines.

Louis Wright is an extremely intelligent, innovative, and dedicated musician. I believe he would make an excellent addition to a faculty for teaching music.

I have been a professional drummer and percussionist for my entire adult life. I have performed in just about every popular style,  so I am very attuned to the rhythm section around me because we lay the foundation and the fabric for the melodies, harmonies, and song structure to be built on. As a drummer, it is my job to make sure the tempo and groove are consistent and deep. Never has that been easier for me to do than when I am joined on stage by Louis Wright. The mastery of his instrument and understanding of the larger musical collective only strengthens what he brings to the music in the first place, heart. I had the privilege of meeting Louis on one of those standard packed musician days - where you meet for the first time at the rehearsal in the morning and play a gig together that evening. Not only did he come well-prepared to lay down cohesive bass lines, but he was also an intuitive collaborator and at the same time a really fun hang - which are mutually exclusive elements in a lot of artists. He's since become a friend and I've learned the rich history and stories he has of musical friendships and experiences. The coolest humans are the ones who remain students of life, and Louis is both committed to excellence and continual learning.
